Alert System

3min

Our platform offers a robust alert system designed to notify users with a sophisticated alert system, meticulously designed to notify them about particular conditions affecting their device data. This system is a cornerstone for proactive monitoring and intervention, offering a seamless integration with the platform's dashboard. Through the "Alerts" panel, users gain an immediate and detailed perspective on their device's status, ensuring they are always informed and in control.

Our alert system is divided into two primary categories, each tailored to meet diverse monitoring needs and scenarios:

1. No Signal Alert

The No Signal Alert serves as a critical notification mechanism, activated when a disruption in the data transmission from a device is detected for a predetermined period.

Use Cases:

  • Monitoring Device Connectivity:
It ensures that all devices remain in constant communication, highlighting any connectivity issues that may arise.
  • Ensuring Continuous Data Flow:
By alerting users to interruptions, it helps maintain a steady stream of data, which is vital for real-time monitoring and analysis.
  • Prompt Notification of Device Malfunctions or Disconnections:
Immediate alerts allow users to quickly address and resolve any issues, minimizing downtime and potential data loss.

2. Signal-based Alert

The Signal-based Alert is designed to trigger under specific conditions predefined by the user, based on the data points received from the device.

Use Cases:

  • Monitoring Data Thresholds:
Users can set specific thresholds (e.g., temperature, pressure, etc.), and the system will alert them when these limits are exceeded, indicating potential issues or anomalies.
  • Detecting Abnormal Patterns or Values in the Data Stream:
This feature is invaluable for identifying unexpected data patterns that could signify operational issues, enabling timely corrective actions.
  • Ensuring Device Operations Within Safe and Expected Parameters:
By monitoring device data against set benchmarks, users can ensure that their devices operate safely and efficiently, preventing issues and enhancing device longevity.
