Trigger new action

To create a new Action Type,

Step 1: Click on the New Actions tab.

Step 2: In the initial section, choose the type of Action. Depending on your selection, options to upload or select firmware, configurations, or files will become available.

Step 3: At this stage, you have the choice between initiating a phased rollout or proceeding without phases. For each phase, a device filter is provided, enabling you to choose specific devices for action triggers. Additionally, you can set the timing for each phase to determine when the actions will be triggered. You can also, select the percentage of devices if all devices are selected in a filter.

Step 4: By enabling the Advanced toggle, additional options become available, allowing you to activate retries or set a timeout for actions after a specified duration.

Step 5: After reviewing the Action details in the Summary section, click the Request Approval button to send the Action for approval.
