Slack Notification

Slack notifications integrate alerts directly into team channels, ensuring immediate awareness and collaborative action on device issues like performance anomalies or connectivity problems.
To Setup a Slack Notification,
Step 1: Navigate to the Notification Settings under the Alerts tab.
Step 2: Click on the "Add Notification Rule" Button
Step 3: Select "Slack"
Step 4: Choose an Alert Rule, then input the channel ID and bot token, followed by the notification interval specified in seconds.
- Channel ID: Find this in your Slack channel's settings or URL,
- Visit the Slack channel page, the URL will be in the following format: "https://app.slack.com/client/TXXXXXXX/CXXXXXXX" Your Channel ID is the string beginning with C
- Bot Token: Create a Slack app at the Slack API website, add bot permissions under 'OAuth & Permissions', and install the app to your workspace to generate this token, typically starting with "xoxb-" (Video Tutorial Link)
You will find the new Notification Rule in the table on the Notification Settings tab.
